Nuwara Eliya teas are regarded as some of the very best Ceylon teas. A top quality Orange Pekoe with smooth, red-golden cup and delicate character. The aroma is sweet with fruity undercurrents. This tea is grown at high altitudes of around 1900m, in the mountainous Nuwara Eliya district - Nuwara Eliya means 'above the clouds' - of central Sri Lanka.
