Sencha Ogasa Green Tea

A tea with a grass-green leaf, mild flavour and the unmistakeable taste of a top quality Japanese green tea. Sencha is produced not through fermentation but is rather immediatly steamed to prevent fermentation, and this seals in the flavour. The leaves are then fluffed with hot air, pressed, and dried until only 3% of their original water remains. After extensive rolling they achieve the shape of fine needles. [GFL90553]
